July 8, 2016 Belated update
on the young eagles:
Sometime during the week of May 8, 2016 the young ones perished, the
cause is a bit of a mystery. The
parents lingered about the nest area for about another week before
perching somewhere near their favorite hunting grounds. Talked to ODNR
officer and he didn't seem too concerned as they were young, or first
time parents and could simply have been thier inexperience. So, as sad
as that may be, i will be anxiously awaiting their return when the
nesting
season starts again.
August 18, 2016 The parents are still around, see them sometimes at the nest site, or around the reservoirs .
Sept. 2, 2016 The young pair made a surprise visit to the nest, got a couple awsome pics.

Jan. 2017 Recieved word the female died during deer hunting season from the hunter that reported it to the Lorain County Wildlife officer, attempts were made, but she did not survive.
Feb. New adult female, and a 4yr old male have run the previous male from the nest, it appears that eggs (or egg) has been laid March 23, 2017, we shall see..............
